What is the best brand of icecream?

I guess we could all say that is a matter of opinion.

But I would like to offer up an ice-cream brand and flavor that I think most individuals will greatly enjoy:

Mmmm. Delicious!!!

This is gluten-free, all-natural. Tastes like the “good ol’ days” of icecream.

Its list of ingredients is short, but its taste is delicious!

I really LOVE this brand of icecream!

Yummy Treat/ Way to Gain Weight/ Satisfy A Sweet Tooth

We don’t usually like to think of this category as a society, BUT did you ever think of how many “treats” are gluten-free??

I know . . . I know . . .

We’re not supposed to think of THAT category!

(Well, confession here . . . I happen to currently fall in the category of gluten-free eaters who needs to gain weight, so this is also helpful!)

Oooooh – something yummy for those sweet tooth cravings????

Here it is!!!!

Caramel “chewies”

I love these!!! (Who doesn’t?!)

Soft and chewy and smooth . . . and satisfying.

Soothing too!!

I love it!

(Now, lest you think this is a problem for me – this bag has been residing at my home for over a year now. 🙂 )

Where to find:

Drugstores/ Local grocery stores, etc. are a great place to find them (usually for $1) (in the candy aisle).

Easy, Easy Beef Dinner

O.k. – we all are looking for those easy-to-make meals.

This is one of them! (You can easily add a side of mashed/baked potatoes and veggies to round out the meal.)

This has such good flavor; the meat is tender; AND it is FAST to prepare!

It is a go-to when I was something special as well as fast.

It truly is enjoyed!!

Where to find it:

I purchase at my local grocery store (east coast of United States). It was carried near where the frozen hamburgers, frozen potatoes, etc. are carried.

Sugar-Free Cranberry Sauce

Ooooh! This just sounded soooo good!

I know it’s not Thanksgiving currently, but who says you can’t enjoy something delicious any time of year?

This uses orange juice and monk fruit to help complement the cranberry.

Mmmmmm!

Recipe:

1/2 Lb cranberries
2 Tbsp grated orange zest
1/4 cup orange juice
8 packets Monk Fruit in the Raw sweetener
Salt and pepper to taste

Heat all ingredients on medium heat in a pot on the stove “until the cranberries burst, and the mixture becomes thick and dry, about 40 minutes.” Serve or refrigerate for later serving.

I could see using this as a side trimming – it could help dress up/ flavor chicken or even a sandwich.

Healthy, Hearty Snack That You’ll Love!! – Try It!

Mmmm! Several years ago a friend introduced me to a REALLY, REALLY good health bar. I’ll never forget how satisfying that was and how healthy it felt!

The basic ingredients it contained were chocolate and hemp hearts.


Hemp hearts were a new food to me.

These little, power-packed morsels of goodness help meet nutritious needs in many ways:

  • They are satisfying!
  • They have a great flavor – and nice texture: somewhat like a cross between a nut and a delicious pasta meal/ homemade bread roll.
  • They contain many nutrients, including potassium, magnesium, omega 3s, and protein.
  • In addition, they are LOW sugar!!

I am currently enjoying Bob’s Red Mill brand. This bag is very fresh and has a nice, satisfying taste.
