I can guarantee you never thought of this food –

Perfect for Keto, GAPS, SCD, etc. diets!

I used to greatly enjoy this when I needed some variety while on a very restricted diet.

It was one of those treasured food items that I was able to eat.

Get this: Sugar = 0 grams!! Whoo-hoo!!

What food item has 0 grams of sugar???

It can be used in stir frys.

It makes a nice addition to salads

It also works great alongside pasta.

You can add it to a casserole.

I also saw it included in chili.

Rhubarb delicious leaf stalk

Scrumptious, Low-Sugar Fruit-Like Ingredient

Oh, WOW!!!

I remember the first time I had rhubarb!

It was in a rhubarb pie served at a local family diner. It was incredible!!!

And I was hooked!

Fast-forward several years –

To the time I needed to eat low-sugar, low-carb, gluten-free, keto-like foods.

In researching what I could possibly eat, I ran across one thing that was healthy, yet had VERY low sugar:

Enter rhubarb!

Just from looking at the vibrant red color, it looks healthy.

Combine it with strawberries (and some form of sweetener to your preference), and you have a simple, healthy, low-carb dessert.

It can help add variety to your diet, as well as provide nutrients to your body.

Win – win!

Where to find:

Grocery store – see photo below; you can find in the frozen food section, or in season, in produce
